NASA Sample Return Robot Challenge

We are competing in the NASA Sample Return Robot Challenge, a competition where teams must build a robot that will autonomously nagvigate a field and retrieve objects. This is based on what real rovers have to accomplish on celestial bodies like Mars.

We are ready to build, but we'll need your help to make this happen. If we are able to compete, then we plan to release our designs and software to the community and help others make progress in this exciting field. The Challenge

NASA started the challenge 2012 to develop innovative ideas for future rovers. Since then, teams have competed every year for a prize pool of $1.5 million dollars. This comes with some unique challenges, such no earth based navigation methods like GPS. Learn more below.
